Boat Ramp downloads page

The following boat ramp files require that you have either Google Earth or Garmins MapSource on your computer. I have links to the download pages of each on the index page of the boat ramps section and the bottom of this page if you need them.

These files are very easy to use once you have either of those programs. Simply double click the file once you have downloaded it and either program will auto launch.

Australian Boat Ramps

To see Queensland boat ramps in Google earth save this file,

Queensland Boat Ramps.kmz (4kb) 107 ramps

To see New South Wales boat ramps in Google earth save this file,

NSW Boat Ramps.kmz (7kb) 218 ramps

All available boat ramps will show in Google earth as a light blue sailing boat.

To see Queensland boat ramps in MapSource save this file,

qldboatramps.gdb (19kb) 107 ramps

To see New South Wales boat ramps in MapSource save this file,

nswboatramps.gdb (38kb) 218 ramps

All available boat ramps will show in MapSource as a trailer on a ramp. This will carry through to any exports to your GPS but will only show as a pinpoint if viewed in Google earth. The bonus with MapSource is you can export the information to google earth by clicking View > View in Google Earth or click > Transfer > Send to device and they will load into your Garmin GPS unit if it is connected to your computer via usb cable.
